April is an aspiring novelist weaving gothic romance and ghastly tales in short stories and poetry, with her first novel in progress. A registered nurse for over a decade, she has built her career in the emergency department while also serving as a faculty member, where she is deeply committed to educating and mentoring future nurses. She holds both a Master of Science in Nursing Education and a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree and is board certified in Nurse Coaching. In addition to her nursing career, April has spent nearly ten years as a paranormal investigator and embraces her heritage as a curandera, drawing upon traditions of healing and spirituality. These diverse roles—nurse, educator, investigator, healer, and writer—intertwine to shape her creative voice. By night, she turns to storytelling as an outlet to live in the moment and explore the shadows of imagination, crafting narratives where the human experience, gothic beauty, and mystery converge.
